Tractor Blow & Go
Service Overview:

The service period is from November 1st – March 30th of the indicated season.

Snow will be cleared with an accumulation of snow of 5cm or more.

Our tractors will be dispatched once 5cm of accumulation has occurred.

Service time will vary from storm to storm.

A texted alert will be sent if requested when our tractor is dispatched to the indicated service area.

The areas to be serviced are the driveway and only where accessible for the tractor

Our operators are trained to stay 12-24" away from buildings, garage doors, vehicles, and any other object that could be damaged.

Our operators are trained to stay 6-10 inches away from driveway markers. We install driveway markers in early November and remove them after April.

A return visit for the plow accumulation at the end of the laneway is included on larger snowfalls (10 cm or more). This clearing is usually done the following evening after the snow event.

When our tractor is dispatched for the return plow clean up visit, we send an alert so any vehicles in the driveway wish to be moved and we can clear any snow not accessible during the first visit.

This service does not include any shovelling of the porch, walkway, in front of the garage or around any vehicles (unless the shovelling option has been purchased).

Service Overview

The service period is from November 1st – March 30th of the indicated season.

The areas usually cleared for this service are in front of the garage where the tractor cannot access, front walkway, and front porch.

Additional areas can be requested to be cleared at an additional cost.

Snow will be cleared with an accumulation of snow of 5cm or more.

The shovelling add on service is completed by a separate crew and service time can vary from the clearing of the driveway.

One clearing per snow event and NO return visit after the city plow has come by.
Terms and Liability Agreement.
The Contractor shall be responsible for and shall restore at its expense all damage to the property of the Owner caused by the Contractor in the performance of the Work which damage was not reasonably foreseeable as a consequence of the Contractor's performance of this Agreement. The Owner acknowledges that some damage to the property of the Owner is reasonably foreseeable as a consequence of the Contractor’s performance of this Agreement, which reasonably foreseeable damage includes, but is not limited to, damage to grass areas, gardens, basketball nets, extension cords, Christmas lights, and other items that were not previously removed from the designated clearing area. PLEASE ENSURE ALL ARTICLES ARE REMOVED FROM THE DESIGNATED CLEARING AREA PRIOR TO EACH STORM
The Contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner, its agents and employees from and against any claim for damages arising from an occurrence of bodily injury or death or the destruction of tangible personal property provided that the damages are caused by the negligence or breach of this Agreement of the Contractor or anyone for whom the Contractor is responsible in law and provided that the Contractor is given notice of the claim by the Owner within a reasonable time following the occurrence but in any event within 48 hours of the Owner first acquiring knowledge of the circumstances of the claim. The Owner expressly waives the right to be indemnified by the Contractor and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Contractor, its agents and employees from and against any claim for damages save and except those which arise due to the negligence or breach of this Agreement of the Contractor.
Johnstone Property Maintenance does not provide any ice control measures of any kind and are not liable for any slip and falls in the designated clearing areas. We are responsible for clearing snow from the designated clearing areas only and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure the premises is clear of ice build up and any other slippery conditions present.
Our service times can vary based on the timing of the storm, equipment issues, traffic, severity of the storm and other unforeseen circumstances. We do our best to maintain a high quality of service but this can be hindered by the above factors. If there are any concerns about service time you can contact us and we will update you with an approximate service time.
Late or missed payments that exceed 30 days will result in halt of our tractor blow & go service as well as the shovelling add on service if purchased. If no payment is received the customer will be still be responsible to pay for the that was agreed upon between the customer and contractor. Once payment is received service will commence as indicated in the above service overview.
